Smooth-on Workshop: Mold Making, Lifecasting and Skin Effects

Another Haunt Added to the Pre-Show Tour

I can finnaly announce that we have added the Chamber of Horrors to the pre-show tour. That rounds us out at about 5 different Halloween events in 48 hours, before you even get to Houston!

NOTE: The Pre-show tour STARTS in Baton Rouge, LA. It is up to you to get to the Sheriton hotel and casino, which is next door to 13th Gate. Check into the hotel and from that point on everything is paid for until we drop you off at the hotel in Houston.

The Haunt tour at 13th Gate will start a 8pm.

More Education and Another Haunt Tour!

For the past few years HAuNTcon has been hosting a paid workshop on Monday AFTER the convention. Now, several companies have approached us about offering paid workshops as well. So for 2008, HAuNTcon will be hosting hands-on workshops by Wolfe Brothers, Smooth-on, Boneyard FX and a full day Haunt design seminar by Leonard Pickel – to name a few!

A third Haunted Event Tour will also be added to Sunday Night!

The Monday seminars will be an additional fee over and above the price of the conference. Stay tuned for pricing for these in-depth hands-on workshops.

HAuNTcon 2008 EXPANDS Pre-show Tour to 2 Nights - April 22 and 23!

The Pre-show Haunt tour for HAuNTcon will take attendees to New Orleans, LA to tour,The House of Shock (THE most radical Haunt you will ever see), The 13th Gate (One of the highest detail Haunts you will ever see), The Mortuary (built in a haunted funeral parlor, in the middle of a cemetery)
Chinchuba’s Haunted House (a non-profit attraction in it's 20th year!)

Without you there would be no HAuNTcon and it is with your continued support that we look forward to our next destination - Houston, Texas for HAuNTcon 2008, April 24-27.

We have already had speakers and exhibitors sign up for HAuNTcon 2008, and we have big plans for the pre-show Haunt tour which we will be announcing soon. HAuNTcon Make-N-Takes

New for HAuNTcon 2007 is a track in the Haunt Ed Seminars called Make-N-Take. These sessions are truly hands on workshops were attendees will physically “make” an item or prop, “and” when it is completed, they “take” it with them. A small fee is charged for the materials and an experienced instructor will guide attendees through step by step to completion of the project. Along the way, participant will learn valuable techniques that they can also take with them and use on future product.
